As the center midfielder, Mitch Depke is almost like the point guard for the D.C. Everest boys soccer team, as the Evergreens attack runs through him more often than not.

"He plays a very critical position for us. It's almost as how Mitch goes, our team goes many times," Evergreens coach CJ Hansen said. "That's a lot of responsibility that falls on his shoulders."

Depke, a senior, missed a few games at the start of the season with an ankle injury - one of five starters who have missed at least a game this year due to injury. But the team is getting healthier. Everest enters today's matchup at ...
