Lake Alliance plans free fair

Adams County Lake Alliance will hold a Lake Alliance Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Adams County Community Center, 569 N. Cedar St., Adams.

Admission is free. There will be a free fishing clinic for kids at 1 p.m. with Greg Karch, Department of Natural Resources certified angler educator/licensed fishing guide. Register by email to nickhoman@yahoo.com. Enter for door prizes, including a chance to win a 10-foot Pelican Kayak with paddles.

Food will be available. There will be many educational opportunities with speakers, vendors and nonprofit service organizations on site. This will be a great opportunity to learn about lakes and water issues.
