New exhibit debuts at Hope Church

Ruth Sandor of Sturgeon Bay and I hung a showing of our artwork at Hope United Church in Sturgeon Bay this past Wednesday. Ruth's watercolors are nice representations of various scenes from the area, with her depiction of chickens in one painting a favorite.

My work is the agricultural work I did for the Gibraltar Sesquicentennial with a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Peninsula Arts Association.

It brought back some pleasant memories of the winter I spent working in the studio with sketches and photos collected for this project. They are done in bright acrylics with a few pastels ...
