A 55-year-old Racine man was injured after being attacked and robbed early Sunday in the village of Egg Harbor, according to a press release by the Door County Sheriff's Department.
At 2:38 a.m. Oct. 6, the Door County Sheriff's Department and Door County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the village of Egg Harbor for a reported robbery. The victim had left a local business on foot and was confronted and attacked by an unknown suspect who injured him, took several items of value and left, according to Chief Deputy Gary Behling. The victim was found later by family members who called for help. The injured man was taken to Ministry Door County Medical Center in Sturgeon Bay where he was treated and released.
