Fire damages Gillett restaurant's kitchen

GILLETT A popular Gillett restaurant will be closed for about a month after its kitchen was heavily damaged in a fire on Sunday morning.

The fire started in the kitchen at O.J.'s Midtown, 128 E. Main St., but a sprinkler system kept the blaze from spreading.

"Everything was contained to the kitchen area," said Owen Farrell, who owns the downtown restaurant with his wife Joan. The couple lives in an apartment above the restaurant. ...
