Mike Theiss, program coordinator for the tech tutor program through the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County, will hold a class for beginning iPad users 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Marathon County Public Library Stratford Branch, 400 N. Fourth Ave., Stratford.

During "Introduction to the iPad," Theiss will review basic iPad functions and how users can get the most out of their iPad tablet computers. Theiss will have some iPads available for use, but students are encouraged to bring their own iPads if they have them. However, the iPads students bring will need to be registered and set up with an iTunes account before the class, Theiss said.

The class is free and open to the public, but registration is limited. For more information or to register, call 715-687-4420. Registration is first-come, first-served.
