The Wausau East boys soccer team won't be defending its Wisconsin Valley Conference title this season.

But Jordan Heiting insured that the Lumberjacks at least retained the city championship Monday.

The East junior striker assisted on both of Zang Chang's first-half goals, and then scored on a rebound in the second half, as the Lumberjacks defeated Wausau West 3-0 in the continuation of a game that was suspended by weather last Thursday. The win also gave East possession of the Wausau Cup for the second straight year, with the Lumberjacks winning on total goals, as the two Wisconsin Valley ...
