For most freshmen goalies, facing three penalty kicks would seem like a daunting task to overcome.

But D.C. Everest freshman goalkeeper Alex Pagel didn't handle the situation like a freshman, but like a seasoned veteran.

Pagel stopped two of three penalty kicks and made several other key stops, and senior Mitch Depke netted both Evergreen goals as they rallied past Wisconsin Rapids 2-1 in double overtime Tuesday night in Wisconsin Valley Conference play at Washington Field. ...
