Family Crisis Center receives grant from Mary Kay Foundation

The Mary Kay Foundation recently awarded a $20,000 grant to CAP Services' Family Crisis Center (FCC) in Stevens Point. The funds will be used to maintain critical services and programs for individuals who are survivors of domestic abuse.

The FCC provides a safe place to stay and supportive and legal advocacy service to domestic abuse victims and their children as well as short-term housing and intervention services to runaway youth.

"The Mary Kay Foundation's generosity and commitment to ending domestic violence mean a lot to this community," said Jane Benzschawel, FCC coordinator. ...
