Fish Creek: Doug Blahnik's hat and gloves will stay at Noble House

Doug Blahnik was the main honoree at the Gibraltar Historical Association's Thanksgiving luncheon held this past week. Doug is retiring after starting at the Noble House in 1998.

A former fifth-grade teacher, Doug was docent, docent trainor, did the press and articles, banking, ghost tours, fix it jobs, research, lining up the speaker series each year, and and many other jobs at the museum. It was Doug who discovered the ghost.

President Barb McKesson thanked Doug for his years of service. She hoped he would return to fill in at times when there is a gap in the scheduling. Doug said he knew it was ...
