Volleyball

Even though the Spartans volleyball team lost to the Bay Conference favorite, Oconto Falls, in five games on Oct. 3, they were able to raise about $6,000 for the Ribbon of Hope Foundation. Pink Out Night has been an L-C tradition for the last five years, and the team has donated more than $20,000 since its start.

"We wanted to do something positive with our program," head coach Jeff Frey said. "It says a lot about the girls, the coaches, parents and community, that they could help us put something together like this." ...
