Lesa Taylor is not exactly the stand-around type. A former competitive swimmer, she walks, runs and goes to the beach when possible. She does yoga. She is the divorced mother of three of Cocoa Beach's best-known athletes: professional skateboarders Adam and Dylan, and skateboarder-surfer Lea Taylor. She also fights lupus.

"I first developed symptoms when I was about 15," she said. "The doctors didn't know what was wrong and ... I finally was diagnosed when I was 22. I was shocked because I was never sick."
