Nathan Jacobs sat next to a group of dolls that gave him the shivers.

Nathan, 12, of Forest Lake, Minn. was at the annual Altrusa Doll & Antiques Show, helping his grandmother Elaine Jacobs, also of Forest Lake, sell antique dolls, handmade teddy bears and other items.

"It feels like they might come to life," Nathan said, referring to a group of antique dolls that had realistic faces and glass eyes. "Sometimes I feel like they're looking at me. ... It seems like a bad spirit could get in them, and they could come to life and harm people." ...
