Writers group holds fall conference at Mead

"Dreaming" to be a writer isn't enough, you've also got to do the "business" required, writers from across the state were advised recently at the Wisconsin Writers' Association, or WWA, fall conference at the Hotel Mead.

About 75 poets, fiction and non-fiction writers gathered for the WWA fall conference here, and got that suggestion from children's writer/editor Miranda Paul of Green Bay. Other keynote speakers included nationally known film editor/consultant Chantelle Osman of Scottsdale, Ariz., poet John Walser and magazine editor/writer Terry Whalin.
