Club news: Sons of Norway

Elvedal Lodge will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Huntington House, 2521 10th St. S. A Scandinavian program "The Scottish Invasion of Norway" - the Battle of Kringen 1612 will be presented by Marv and Louise Lang from the Stevens Point Lodge. They were in Norway for the 400th anniversary commemoration of this historical event in August 2012.

The Barne Norsk Klubb (youth Nordic club) for members' children and grandchildren ages 5 to 12 will meet during the regular meeting.

The nominating committee will present a slate of officers to date and seek member volunteers. See the November/December newsletter for a complete listing, which will be voted on at the Nov. 21 meeting.

Members are reminded to bring nonperishable or personal care items for the Family Center - our Make a Difference Day effort.
