Health care providers require flu shots for employees

The flu can be dangerous for anyone, but for patients who have chronic illnesses or weakened immune systems, the virus can cause serious complications or even death.

In an effort to protect both employees and vulnerable patients from exposure to influenza, more health care facilities, including several in central Wisconsin, have implemented mandatory employee flu vaccine policies.
