There's going to be some terrific fall weather today in north central Wisconsin, with sunny conditions and a high temperature nearing 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

The blustery winds of Saturday night have calmed to about 7 to 10 mph.

There will be more of the same for Columbus Day on Monday. The next chance of precipitation will come early Tuesday morning, according to meteorologists. There's a 40 percent chance of showers then, mostly after 2 a.m., and rain is expected to continue through the day on Tuesday.
