Crowds line up for Granite Peak's ski lift (video added)

Despite a tight Packers game, a steady crowd of men, women, children and at least one small white dog lined up Sunday the bottom of the runs of Granite Peak Ski Area.

The crowd was there to take a ride up and down the steep north slope of Rib Mountain on the Comet Sky Ride ski lift, about a 10-minute round trip. The cost was $9 per person, free for children 5 and younger and dogs. People had the choice to get off the lift and the top of the mountain, walk around, and then hitch a ride down again.
