Along the Lines: Packers vs. Ravens - Week 6

Oct. 14, 2013

GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE PHOTOS BY EVAN SIEGLE

Clockwise from top right, Green Bay Packers receiver Randall Cobb (18) grimaces in pain after getting hurt late in the second quarter during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore; Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (12) visits with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (5) after Sunday's game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The Packers defeated the Ravens 19-17; Green Bay Packers defensive end Datone Jones (95) reacts after the Packers sacked Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco in the first quarter; Packers' Johnny Jolly screams with emotion as he congratulates teammate Jordy Nelson (87) after Nelson's 64-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter during Sunday's game in Baltimore.

How we see it: Sometimes a reaction image is just as powerful, if not more, as an action image. My main job as a sports photographer is to tell the story with my photos. I want you to feel the intensity, emotion and impact with each and every image that I capture from my camera. Last Sunday’s game in Baltimore was a perfect example of how good a reaction image can be.

For the past nine NFL seasons, I've been producing an "Along the Lines" photo slideshow where I share my experiences from the best seat in the house. Here is the 5th installation to the 2013-14 season. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail at esiegle@greenbay.gannett.com. Cheers!
