EDITOR: With the resignation of the 69th Assembly Rep. Scott Suder, we will have a primary election on Oct. 22 and special election on Nov. 19. Several candidates seek this office. One of them has a record of standing on the core values of the Republican Party. These core values include sanctity of life, traditional marriage, family values, freedom of worship and speech, right to bear arms, school choice, property rights, free enterprise and right to work.

This candidate also believes equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity must truly apply to all. This candidate opposes public-private partnerships and similar devices which inevitably lead to increased regulation. He also opposes the "top-down" policies of the United Nations' Agenda 21 and of Common Core mandates in education. Although he appreciates the progress Gov. Scott Walker and the Republican Party have made, he knows that much more can be done to stop deficit spending.

He believes the most effective, responsible government is government closest to the people and that a government that governs least governs best. He believes Americans must retain the principles of faith, national pride, strength and honor that have earned us respect while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world. As a testament to these immutable principles, he believes that our nation's motto, "In God we trust," and the words "one nation under God" in the pledge of allegiance must never be removed.

Who is this candidate? His name is Scott Noble. Noble will be honored to represent you when elected.

Bill Elmhorst,

Neillsville
