EDITOR: I can think of no one better suited for the task of serving the 69th District in the State Assembly than Bob Kulp.

As voters in the upcoming primary election, we are truly blessed with a variety of candidates willing to stand up and represent us in the state Assembly. With the chaos and uncertainty of our current age, it is critical to have someone represent us who truly reflects the hopes and aspirations that we all share. It is also an age where the average person feels alienated by the actions of our elected officials and our sense of worth and value as citizens is diminished.

Truly, I can think of no one who better represents the honesty, integrity, hard work and compassion needed than Bob Kulp. I have known Bob for a number of years and have seen countless instances where he has placed the needs of others above his own. It is also my observation that rarely does one find someone who possesses the drive and determination to succeed in business as Bob has, while maintaining a humility and compassion sorely missed in our public discourse.

One of the true blessings of being a citizen of this great land is that we have an opportunity to help shape and mold the vision and direction of our government. It is never more critical to put people in office with firm principals, integrity and a basic love of their fellow man.

I urge you to vote for Kulp on Oct. 22.

Kirk Haigh,

Edgar
