Editor's note: A continuing look at Marshfield taverns through the years.

Now, let's take a look at 1995. I did run into a bit of a change in the way some establishments were listed in the 1995 Business Directory as some are listed under restaurants, not bars or taverns.

Starting on North Central, we find the Depot Bar is still at 101, Big George's, formerly the Sportsman's Klub, at 301, Bey's Bar at 305, the Corner Saloon at 317, Rick's Red Rooster at 400 and Popeye's Pub at 500.

On West Blodgett, J.P.'s Neighborhood Bar at 600 is now listed as just The Neighborhood Bar. The Viaduct Bar is still on West McMillan.

Crossing the tracks to South Centrral, we find D'Uptown, formerly T.J.'s Bar, at 107, O'Reilly's Bar is still at 141 but Kathy's Pub is now Mr. G's.

The Spot Bar at 409 S. Central is not listed in 1995, and the Clinique Lounge, which was at 501, is now Crabby Dave's. The Derby Bar is still at 511 S. Central.

The End of the Line is at 751 S. Central but The Railroad Station Bar at 801 is not listed in 1995, but Nutz Deep II makes its appearance 809 S. Central. Molly's Pitcher Bar at 1212 S. Central is now Kraft's Place.

Moving off of Central Avenue, we find Cheers Night Club has opened at 111 E. Second St,. but Brown's Bar is still at 504 E. Fourth St. and The Edgetown Tavern is also still at 1214 E. Fourth St. in 1995. At 104 W. Ninth St. is the Underground, and at 114 E. 14th St. is the After Hours Bar and Eatery.

Bubbles Funny Farm is at 2909 S. Maple in 1995, and Shooters is at 1815 Roddis (now South Central).

The Labor Temple at 501 S. Washington is now Shenanigan's.

Further south on Roddis - Highway 13 - are the 10-13 Club at the corner of highways 10 and 13, also known as Klondike Corners, and the Cameron Club further south on Highway 10 and 13. The Rear End is still where the old 10-13 Drive-in Movie was located. Next we will take a look at 2005.
