The Family Resource Center recently accepted a generous donation of various sizes of diapers from The Service League of Fond du Lac.

FRC distributes diapers believing that meeting children's most basic needs will reduce stress in the family by lifting some of the financial burden. Through the actual exchange, FRC strives to empower the families to reach out to the agency for continued support and education in their ever-challenging role as parents.

On average, 300 families receive assistance with meeting their children's most basic needs each month by accessing baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, formula, and clothing.

Many other families attend parenting classes, playgroups, or receive in-home parent education through the Family Resource Center.

The Family Resource Center, a FDL Area United Way agency partner, serves families from all income ranges, backgrounds, and cultures with special outreach to our local Hispanic families.

Because of higher utilization of the services aimed at helping families meet their children's basic needs, the Family Resource Center's supplies have been running very low.

If you would like to donate to the Family Resource Center, please consider donating items off of our wish list below:

? Baby formula

? Diapers

? Baby wipes

? Pack n Plays

? Booster seats

? NEW car seats

? Lysol wipes and spray

? Paper plates, cutlery

? Craft activities and games

? New or gently used toys and books

? Batteries

? Walmart or Target gift cards

Parents interested in receiving support can simply call the Family Resource Center at 923-4110 - or stop by at 104 S. Main St., Suite 302.
