Area youth ages 8 to 17 and their families interested in volunteering are encouraged to contact the Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County at 926-1414 to receive a copy of the newly published Fall/Winter Youth & Family Volunteer Guide.

The guide includes more than 130 volunteer opportunities specifically for youth and families at over 35 area non-profit organizations throughout Fond du Lac County.

Created as a result of the overwhelming response to the Summer Youth Volunteer Guide, the Fall Guide offers a variety of volunteer opportunities that can be enjoyed either at the agency site or at home. Holiday-specific opportunities include assisting with the Thanksgiving Day food distribution; bell-ringing over the holidays; Holiday Cards for Heroes program, and many more.

Guide made possible with support from the FDL Area United Way and Human Race 2013 event proceeds.

To receive your copy, call 926-1414.
