EDITOR: Please join me in supporting Alanna Feddick-Goodwin for 69th Assembly District on Oct. 22.

Having worked with Feddick-Goodwin on the Marshfield City Council, I can vouch for her vision, her ability to empathize with the needs of residents in our community, and her proven track record to achieve results. She held a firm position when the City Council discussed a potential new library and community center. She asked the tough questions. The work of the committee was called in check with a resolution she supported that committed city support with clear expectations of the timeframe for the private fundraising and construction of the project.

Through her actions and foresight, taxpayer dollars are guaranteed to be protected and wisely invested. Alanna's vision and support of the project has allowed the private fundraising efforts to move forward with the interest of the facility users and taxpayers in mind.

I have observed and admired Alanna for times when "black and white" decisions are simply not available. As a member of the Marshfield City Council, Alanna worked in concert with her colleagues in support of investing in Marshfield's stable future. Marshfield leads area communities with an increase in expanded tax base and diverse job growth. Thanks to Alanna's leadership, our economic development results are the envy of other Wisconsin communities, large and small.

Alanna Feddick-Goodwin is a results-oriented and consensus-building person. It has been a privilege to serve alongside her through the years. She is the kind of person I can support to represent the 69th Assembly District. She will do a fine job for Marshfield. Vote Alanna Feddick-Goodwin on Oct.22.
