As a person who would be lucky to stay upright trying to bowl with my opposite hand, I have boundless respect for Tracy Schultz May, the Door County USBC Hall of Fame inductee for 2013.

Due to an injury, May spent the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons bowling left-handed, averaging 137 and 142 in successive years.

Of course, her election to the hall in the superior performance category had much more to do with her right-handed exploits. May has averaged in the high 170s and 180s since the 1994-95 season, including bests of 186 in both 1996-97 and 1999-2000. She has thrown 37 series of 600 or better since ...
