MetJet, a year-old De Pere-based air travel provider, is ceasing air operations at the end of next week, leaving some travelers scrambling for alternatives to flights that have already been booked.

MetJet officials said flights scheduled for Saturday and Oct. 23 will continue as scheduled, but operations will halt Oct. 26.

The company says it is preparing refunds for customers who qualify. ...
