If the sea of jubilant red-clad supporters that flooded the south half of the football field at West De Pere High School wasn't telling enough, all one had to do was gaze just beyond the end zone on that side to understand what transpired.

As the celebration by visiting Hortonville carried on for several minutes Friday night, the row of '0's illuminated on the scoreboard symbolized an uncommon status for West De Pere.

The Phantoms are back to starting all over again - as in the 0-0 score that appeared on that scoreboard afterward - after they lost 34-27 in overtime to the Polar Bears. ...
