When formulating a weekly motto or theme, Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy often likes to pull bits of inspiration from the outside and channel them into locker-room motivation.

This week, his message came off the walls of his home in the form of a picture frame belonging to his wife, Jessica, with the time-honored phrase: "Keep Calm and Carry On."

During the team's meeting, McCarthy had football administration assistant Matt Klein hold the picture up as he explained the origin and how it relates to the Packers' recent rash of injuries. ...
