Crafting a statement against bullying

The entire Oshkosh community is encouraged to participate in a project to make a colorful, warm statement against bullying.

We especially need knitters and people willing to contribute toward the purchase of rainbow yarn, already available at local stores. This is a simple project open to everyone - existing community groups or new groups who wish to send a message of support for those who may become victims of bullying. One skein of yarn (about $5) makes a scarf for anyone to wear, a bright symbol of support. If interested in this important way to communicate, call 426-5469. Let us know how you wish to make a positive contribution. Participants can help us with ideas; set a goal to warm hearts.
