In my desk, I keep a letter that I read every few months. It's from an old friend - a letter about becoming who you were meant to be, becoming who you already are.

Many situations can be described that way. A recent issue of my college's alumni magazine included a paragraph about a graduate from the '90s who went on to become a pastor. Now he "has left the parish ministry to pursue his dream of professional tournament bass fishing (in the Ozarks) and has opened a fishing guide business."
