Empty Bowls serves hundreds soup while raising money

Hundreds of people turned up at Stevens Point Area Senior High Saturday afternoon for the 12th annual Empty Bowls of Portage County fundraiser to support local hunger and poverty programs.

Those who attended were able to pick out a handmade bowl, which they could fill with one of many soups donated by local restaurants, and enjoy live music, children's activities and more.
