Frighteningly educational: Wausau's ghost tour a delight

History buffs and ghost-seekers alike walked through the streets of downtown Wausau and its surrounding historic neighborhoods Saturday to hear mysterious stories of the city's most elusive residents - its ghosts.

This year marks the 11th year for the Fall Haunted Walking Tour, hosted by members of the Wausau Paranormal Research Society. The walks, led by tour guides who share heavily researched and astonishingly eerie tales, are a Halloween staple in the community; they draw hundreds of men, women and children in increasing numbers each year.
