A $25,000 donation for Little Libraries from the Walmart Foundation to the Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is going to help put 28 Little Libraries throughout Green Bay by spring, with the first 16 installed Monday. Little Libraries operates on a "Giving a Book, Taking a Book" policy. At 11:30 a.m. Monday, the donation will be presented, and the Little Library at Joannes Park, 315 S. Baird St., will be unveiled. The event will happen at the entrance of Skate Park/Community Police Center and will feature Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt.
