Bow hunters pass test to hunt in Marshfield (with video)

The Marshfield Police Department shooting range was busy Saturday morning as bow hunters participated in one of the proficiency examinations to qualify to hunt in the December and January deer management hunts within the city limits.

While the goal for the bow hunters who will work to cull the deer herds within the city limits is summed up in one word - venison - their reasons for joining the hunt are varied.
