Industrial park TIF continues to prop up redevelopment zones

The commercial and industrial businesses located in Southwest Industrial Park have become huge supporters of the central city, even if they may not know it.

From Bemis Co. to The Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh and CitizensFirst Credit Union, the companies located in the area have made the tax incremental financing district, or TIF, created in 1989 to fund infrastructure improvements in the area the city's most successful district.
