WIAA Girls Tennis: Kohler's Hoffmann secures 6th place in Madison

Kohler's Audra Hoffmann earned a sixth-place finish in the WIAA Division 2 State Tennis Meet Saturday in Madison.

The Blue Bombers junior, who entered the tournament seeded fourth, started the day with a gritty come-from-behind win over The Prairie School's Annie Zlevor. Zlevor won the match's opening set 6-4, but Hoffmann rebounded to take 6-1 and 6-2 wins in the next two sets.

The win put Hoffmann in a fifth-place match against Kenosha St. Joseph's Claire Czerwonka, who earned a 6-3, 6-1 win. ...
