Home sales, prices continue upward climb

Real estate sales in September remained strong statewide and in northeastern Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Realtors Association said Monday that sales increased 15.8 percent over September 2012 and the median sales price was 6.7 percent higher. In the northeastern Wisconsin, sales were up 11.5 percent and the median price was down 1.4 percent, to $123,225, in the 14-county region.

Waupaca County saw sales rise 23.3 and the median price increase by 26.2 percent, to $119, 900, while Calumet County saw sales climb 13.2 percent and the median price increase by 1 percent, to $146,450. Outagamie ...
