Bellin Hospital in Green Bay was among 11 hospitals in Wisconsin to be named Consumer Choice Award winners.
Consumers rated four Northeastern Wisconsin hospitals among the best in the U.S., according to the 2013-14 results of the National Research Corp.'s annual Consumer Choice Awards.
Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah - operated by ThedaCare, a Fox Cities-based health system - and St. Elizabeth Hospital, operated by Menasha-based Affinity Health System, were among 11 hospitals in Wisconsin to be named Consumer Choice Award winners.
Nationwide, 277 hospitals across the United States were picked for the honor from more than 3,200 hospitals. The complete list of hospitals was published in a recent edition of Modern Healthcare magazine.
Winners were determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in National Research Corp.'s Market Insights Survey. The survey is the nation's largest and most comprehensive study of its kind, representing more than 270,000 households in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia.
