The recipient of the Governor's Exemplary Employer Award will be named Thursday during a luncheon at Lambeau Field.

The award honors companies that employ individuals with disabilities.

The luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Lambeau Atrium. Previous recipients include Festival Foods, Culver's, Dean Distributing, DeLeers Millwork and Subway.

The event is co-sponsored by ASPIRO and the state Department of Workforce Development.

Other businesses will be recognized with New Employer Awards for hiring individuals with disabilities during the past year.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
