Every year, William Winch of Vesper spends almost $5,800 and countless hours complying with state and federal licensure requirements and regulations that apply to his convenience store, auto repair shop, laundromat and fuel delivery service, Winch Oil Co. Inc.

Winch had the opportunity to share his concerns about regulatory burdens last week at a meeting with representatives from the National Federation of Independent Business, held at Superior Paper Products Ltd. in Marshfield.
