Police continue to investigate the death of an elderly woman who died under suspicious circumstances.

Helen Zawislan, 87, died Aug. 2 at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston. Zawislan was a retired ginseng farmer.

An autopsy performed Aug. 3 prompted an investigation, according to a news release issued Aug. 22 by Marathon County Sheriff Scott Parks. Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death, Parks said Monday.
