Woman charged in alleged crime spree

Police arrested a 26-year-old woman Thursday, putting an end to a crime spree that allegedly began with an armed robbery of a 20-year-old Mosinee man in March.

Kayla M. Weiks of Weston was arrested by Rothschild police on a warrant and was charged Friday in Marathon County Circuit Court with multiple felonies. Weiks faces charges of armed robbery, forgery, identity theft and bail jumping in two separate cases in two jurisdictions; she remains behind bars on a $25,000 cash bond.
