Losses expected from 2013 Door County Fair

It appears the Door County Fair cost more than it took in for the third consecutive year, Door County Assistant Finance Director Mark Janiak told members of a committee set up to recommend changes to the annual event last week.

Final numbers aren't yet available for 2013 as the Door County Fair Association's fiscal year runs from Nov. 1 to Oct. 31, Janiak said. Financial reports will provide solid numbers next month.
