A Ledgeview developer would like to build about 15 apartments on the top three floors of Greater Green Bay YMCA's downtown building.

The proposal is part of a larger plan by the YMCA to do major renovations throughout the building at 235 N. Jefferson St. The fourth through sixth floors once were dormitories, but haven't been used since the 1980s.

"We really don't have any need for that space," said Steve Harty, YMCA president and CEO. ...
