West De Pere High School's varsity boys soccer team is just two wins away from getting to a venue never reached by the Phantoms: the WIAA state tournament.

To put itself in position for a shot to play at Uihlein Soccer Stadium in Milwaukee next week, West De Pere will have to get past one of the elite teams in Wisconsin.

Fresh off winning the program's first regional title since 2007, the fourth-seeded Phantoms will play at top-seeded Cedarburg in a Division 2 sectional semifinal game at 7 p.m. Thursday. ...
