The following defendants recently made initial appearances in Oconto County Circuit Court. Felony counts punishable with a prison sentence are denoted by an "(F)."

Felonies

Christopher L. Harris, 22, of Oconto Falls, was charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child under age 16, for incidents with a then-15-year-old girl from June 1 to Aug. 1 in the city of Oconto Falls.

Samantha L. Smith, 18, of Oconto, was charged Oct. 14 with bail jumping (F) over an incident Oct. 12 in the city of Oconto.

Jeffrey J. Smet, 45, of the Oconto County Jail, was charged Oct. 8 with possession with intent to deliver non-narcotics (F), possession of narcotic drugs (F) and theft, in connection with an incident Sept. 20 in the city of Gillett.

Douglas J. Piontek, 41, of Wabeno, was charged Sept. 26 with bail jumping (F) and bail jumping over an incident July 6 in the town of Townsend.

Thomas J. Laviolette, 42, of Oconto, was charged Sept. 23 with strangulation and suffocation (F), battery, and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident in the city of Oconto on Aug. 10.

Brian C. Vincent, 27, and Jessica M. Hager, 25, both of Abrams, were charged Sept. 20 with maintaining a drug trafficking place-party to a crime (F), possession with intent to manufacture/deliver THC-party to a crime (F), and possession of drug paraphernalia-party to a crime, in connection with an incident Sept. 3 in the town of Abrams.

Ashly Toth, 31, of Oconto Falls, was charged Sept. 12 with two counts of child abuse-intentionally harm child (F) over an incident Dec. 1, 2012.

Christian L. Matelski, 26, of Suring, was charged Sept. 10 with criminal damage to property-over $2,500 (F) in connection with an incident July 28 in the town of Mountain.

Mary A. Baldwin, 49, of Green Bay, was charged Sept. 5 with misstating facts in a financial statement-$100 to $5,000, first offense (F) and medical assistance fraud (F), over a period from April 1 through July 31, 2012.

Misdemeanors

Eddie Williams, 45, of Oconto, was charged Oct. 15 with three counts of disorderly conduct over an incident the day before in the city of Oconto.

Scott J. Wishart, 33, of De Pere, was charged Oct. 14 with bail jumping, criminal damage to property, battery and two counts of disorderly conduct on an incident Oct. 11 in the town of Little Suamico.

Jeremia J. George, 21, of Black Creek, was charged Oct. 14 with knowingly violating a domestic abuse injunction over an incident Oct. 14.

Rebecca M. Micoley, 37, of Suring, was charged Oct. 1 with disorderly conduct-party to a crime and bail jumping over an incident June 24 in the town of Breed.

Amanda R. Jagla, 27, of Little Suamico, was charged Sept. 27 with two counts of disorderly conduct over an incident Sept. 18 in the town of Abrams.

Donne J. Hansen, 59, of Abrams, was charged Sept. 27 with battery and disorderly conduct over an incident Sept. 23.

Rodney W. Trepanier, 55, of Lena, was charged Sept. 27 with two counts of disorderly conduct over an incident Sept. 2 in the town of Stiles.

Lisa M. Delabreau, 45, of Gillett, was charged Sept. 24 with disorderly conduct over an incident Sept. 12.

Sara A. True, 32, of Oconto Falls, was charged Sept. 24 with theft and obstructing an officer over an incident Aug. 9 in the city of Oconto Falls.

Nicholas A. Stevenson, 34, of Cascade, was charged with possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia over an incident Aug. 21 in the town of Pensaukee.

Jean M. Hatfield, 62, of Suring, was charged Sept. 17 with resisting or obstructing an officer over an incident on Sept. 5.

Melinda S. Bellcour, 27, of Oconto Falls, was charged Sept. 16 with battery and disorderly conduct over an incident Sept. 15 in the city of Oconto Falls.

Douglas M. Vande Hei, 17, of Little Suamico, was charged Sept. 9 with battery, disorderly conduct-use of a dangerous weapon over an incident on Sept. 8, and on Oct. 4 with knowingly violate a child abuse order and bail jumping, over an incident on Sept. 10, both in the town of Little Suamico.

Kia M. Epping, 36, of Gillett, was charged Sept. 6 with five counts of issuing worthless checks, written between March 17 and March 27.

Sherri M. Diedrich, 28, of Oconto, was charged Aug. 30 with disorderly conduct over an incident Aug. 29 in the city of Oconto.

Frank G. Cardin, 61, of Appleton, was charged with disorderly conduct and bail jumping over an incident Aug. 8 in the town of Mountain.

Dylan M. Younger, 20, of Oconto Falls, was charged July 9 with illegal shining of deer, elk or bear-party to a crime in connection with an incident Oct. 23, 2011.
