The Green Bay Packers got some good news on the injury front for a change when running back James Starks and linebacker Brad Jones returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Clarke Hinkle Field.
Starks has been out since the Bengals game on Sept. 22 with an injured knee and Jones has been missing since late in the first half of the Lions game on Oct. 6 with a hamstring injury.
Cornerback and special teams ace Jarrett Bush has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury but practiced Wednesday. Cornerback Casey Hayward, who also has been recovering from a hamstring injury, participated in practice.
Not practicing for the Packers were receiver James Jones, linebacker Nick Perry, tight end Ryan Taylor, linebacker Clay Matthews and tight end Jermichael Finley.
Among the players on the PUP list, only tackle Derek Sherrod practiced. The other three PUP players, defensive lineman Jerel Worthy, safety Sean Richardson and offensive lineman JC Tretter, didn't practice.
