Oregon-based Reser's Fine Foods is recalling about 22,800 pounds of potentially bacteria-tainted chicken, ham and beef products and refrigerated ready-to-eat salads made at a Topeka, Kan., plant.

The company and the U.S. Department of Agriculture says the products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause a potentially fatal disease. The products were shipped to retailers and distributors in 27 states, including Wisconsin.

There have been no reports of illness. Symptoms can include high fever and severe headache.
