Fond du Lac drug court gets go-ahead

A new approach designed to help drug addicts maintain sobriety and turn their lives around is set to start in Fond du Lac County early next year.

The Fond du Lac County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to accept a $350,000, three-year Bureau of Justice Assistance Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant.

"As a judge I see these people (drug addicts) and as a judge, there is very little we can do," said Gary Sharpe, Fond du Lac County Circuit Court judge. ...
